let the holidays begin

ahhh......... the holidays have finally begun. its been a good five days into my winter holidays and i have only just realized it. holidays at home just gives one a different sense of family and closeness that the holidays at any other place would never be able to provide. being a hostelite, comin back home bring with it a charge of various delicious dishes cooked by my doting mother(and sometimes even my father). one begins to value the things that one usually took for granted. blessed with mess food that's tending towards discovering new levels of blandness, i feel that a visit to my home definately does good for my senses of taste and smell.
being the voracious eater that i am, i enjoy these trips back home irrespective of how long or how short they are. the home gives me a sense of belongingness that the hostel can never provide. not that i hate hostel life........in fact i'm quite enjoying it(it surprises even me). but somehow being at home is just more fun and.........cozy.
right now i'm in festive mood with christmas and new year's coming up, and when i'm in a festive mood i'm happy and when i'm happy i like people all around the world to be happy.
